I want your advice!
I have taken an old sketch painting and have expanded on it. I needed a canvas and didn't want to buy a new one, so I used this old painting as a starting off point. I need some advice on how to go forward. What looks strange? Should I leave some of the sketchy underpainting showing? What do you all think?

I like it as is except for two things:
1 the knee doesn't fade to a distance; seems to be popping up
2 The shadow on her back is popping out also; too dark; blends better in the sketch.
